Biography

Rachel Jeter is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW). Jeter has both bachelor's and master's degree in Social work from the University of Kansas.

Jeter currently works as a Chief of Rehabilitation Division, Directorate of Treatment Programs in Army Corrections Brigade in Lansing, Kansas. In that role, Jeter is a Supervisory social worker who provides program development, risk assessment, and implementation of crime specific treatment to decrease recidivism risk. 

Jeter previously worked as youth juvenile corrections and residential treatment provider, school based social work services for both primary and secondary schools, adjunct instructor, and emergency screening services for community mental health.

Research

Practice and Research Focus Areas

Jeter's specialty is in Sexual offender risk assessment and treatment and would like to focus DSW on improving long-term outcomes for dual-status youth transitioning into adulthood.
