Biography —
Megan Reiss is a Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW). Reiss a bachelor's degree in social work from Fort Hays State University, a Master of Social Work from KU, and an associate's degree from Garden City Community College.
Reiss currently works as a student services supervisor at the Kansas Department for Children and Families. In that role, Reiss supervises students completing field placements or internships with child protective services, adult protective services, and independent living. She also presents to universities about internship opportunities, child welfare, and mandated reporting.
Reiss previously worked as a permanency specialist/aftercare specialist and reintegration supervisor roles at Saint Francis Ministries. There, Reiss provided leadership and supervision to staff and monitored client satisfaction. She was responsible for conducting assessments, leading case plan meetings with families, recommending necessary services, and overseeing visitations.
