Biography —
Erin Potanas earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Syracuse University and her Master of Social Welfare (MSW) from the University of Kansas.
Potanas currently serves as the Grant and Support Specialist/Accreditation Coordinator at the Metro Public Health Department in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, she leads grants administration and public health performance initiatives, overseeing accreditation and quality improvement efforts that strengthen essential health services for Nashville and Davidson County’s diverse communities.
Previously, Erin worked extensively in harm reduction and HIV/AIDS services and has supported survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking.
