Zhiqi Yi

Zhiqi’s research interests include aging, end-of-life care, sexual and gender minorities, and psychosocial well-being. Zhiqi intends to illuminate psychosocial health disparities in the process of aging, especially the health-related inequities experienced by LGBTQ+ older adults in their later lives. Another focus of Zhiqi’s research is on end-of-life issues and end-of-life care, such as death and dying, advanced care planning, hospice and palliative care, and bereavement. Intersecting end-of-life issues and sexual and gender minority populations, Zhiqi intends to examine health disparities and inequities in their last stages of life.
