Omowunmi Olaleye

My research interest is tailored around how childhood trauma is linked with family dysfunctionality. I intend to horn my knowledge, cross-culturally, on the impact of family structure or dynamic on the developmental growth of a child, how to minimize its impact, and what social policies can be formulated to ease the tension confronted by any child within the family system or unit. My focus is on how understanding dysfunctionality within the immediate family unit and how this can influence emotionally traumatized children, hereby, affecting their adulthood.
