Kris Matthews

Kris has a background working with youth and families in community mental health settings. She has done project coordination for several mental health and disability-related research and training initiatives at the KU Life Span Institute and the KUSSW. She has served as an adjunct instructor for the MSW program at Park University since 2016. Her areas of interest include high-needs youth and young adults who are at-risk due to involvement in multiple systems (mental health, special education, juvenile corrections, and intellectual/development disability).
