Ella Peterson

Ella Peterson is the Undergraduate Program Recruitment Coordinator for the School of Social Welfare. She is a dedicated higher education professional with a wealth of experience supporting students across various roles, including orientation programming, financial aid, admissions, academic advising, and most recently, serving as a student advocate for a non-profit. A lifelong Jayhawk, Ella graduated from the University of Kansas with dual majors in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Human Sexuality, along with minors in Psychology and Business. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in Social Justice and Human Rights from Arizona State University. Passionate about empowering students through information, Ella is committed to creating equitable opportunities that help all students thrive in their academic and personal journeys. She is thrilled to be working with students who strive to better their communities.
