Camilah Hicks

Camilah’s scholarly and personal interests include racial, social, and reparative justice, equity, and well-being and self-care. She prioritizes interdisciplinary work that melds strengths-based social policy with social justice and equity, removing barriers to access, and embodying joy as a means of resistance, with the goal of reframing and reimagining the narratives that have led to the trauma that comes from living in and around racist and sexist systems and structures, for people of the global majority in general, but especially women and girls.
