Competency Benchmark
For all practice behaviors and their aggregate competency measure, 80% of BSW students will be rated at the level of Above Average Performance or Consistently Excels with an aggregate mean of 4.0 on a 5-point scale. On this scale, 5 = Consistently excels in implementing the practice behavior, 4 = Demonstrates above average ability in implementing the practice behavior, 3 = Dependably implements the basic elements of the practice behavior, 2 = Inconsistently implements the basic elements of the practice behavior, and 1 = Unable to implement the basic elements of the practice behavior.
Assessment is from classroom instructors and field instructors. 2008 EPAS Competencies were measured.
