Curriculum Overview

The 11 core social work courses in the KU School of Social Welfare PhD program are designed to prepare students to become leaders nationally and internationally in advancing social work practice and policy through research, teaching and scholarship.

Electives, the Integrative Paper, and the dissertation allow greater focus and specialization.
