Natasha Santiago-Mason, LBSW, has nearly 15 years’ experience in child welfare. Holding a Social Work license, she is currently a Program Coach with KanCoach, Kansas Strong at The University of Kansas, School of Social Welfare. Ms. Santiago-Mason has worked extensively in the areas of special need adoptions, foster care, and case management within the Kansas child welfare system. She has led and assisted in the development and implementation of several initiatives with a purpose to educate and support the caregivers of traumatized children. In addition, provided specific trainings to caregivers and child welfare staff regarding trauma informed care. She has done extensive work within the assessment process for families interested in adopting and fostering children within the child welfare system. Currently, she is focused on incorporating coaching implementation to child welfare supervisors throughout the state of Kansas.
