The Spiritual Diversity and Social Work Initiative promotes respect, wisdom, and skill among social workers and allies around the world regarding diverse religious and nonreligious spiritual perspectives; spirituality and religion as strengths and resources for wellbeing and social justice; philosophies of social work and social justice; ethical and moral reflection by professionals and clients; and practices, policies, theories, research methods, and educational approaches that are culturally appropriate and spiritually sensitive.
