KU SSW Faculty Executive Statement on Justice and Inclusion

Tuesday, November 24, 2015

The Faculty Executive Committee of the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and safe environment for everyone, especially students within our community.  As social workers, we are firmly committed to activism that promotes social justice, challenges oppression and privilege, and facilitates inclusion of all marginalized populations.  We, as a faculty and a School, need to listen, acknowledge problems, and develop action plans.

We encourage all members of the KUSSW community to attend the November 30th Forum (11-12:30, Price Computer Center Auditorium) where we can continue to discuss solutions and actions.
