American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare Selects 17 New Fellows for 2013 Class

The American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare has selected Tom McDonald as one of the 17 new fellows for the class of 2013. The 17 new fellows were nominated and elected by existing fellows and represent an elite group of social work scholars and practitioners.

Dr. McDonald earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin and has been a professor with the KU School of Social Welfare since 1988 and has been the associate dean for research since 2000. His research interests include child welfare and children's mental health; research methods and statistical analysis; service delivery; use of information systems in policy and practice decisions.

An Induction Ceremony will be held in San Antonio, TX on January 18, 2014. We want to congratulate Tom McDonald on joining the class of fellows.
